GREATEST MIRACLE.

Divine Future Child care Ministry is an arm of the Fountain of Light Ministries, a government registered Christian Non-Government, non-profit organisation for services to God and humanity. Fountain of light ministry is headed by two Nigerian missionaries Pastor Benjamin Nebechukwu and his wife Pastor Ngozi Nebechukwu.

The ministry aims to help the fatherless and needy children to have a fulfilled destiny. Since 2005, the ministry has taken on the responsibility to care for orphans in child headed families and those with mothers who can hardly cater for their education. To date, through Church resources, the ministry has;

  • Established a nursery/kindergarten school to provide the basic and sound education to the needy children. So far 120 children have gone through the school some of whom have moved to Primary school.
  • Provided uniforms, first aid/medical services and meals for these children
  • Provide a conducive and child friendly environment for the recreation and holistic development
  • Sponsored twenty children at high school level and five to a teacher training college

The Goal
The overall goal of the Ministry is to rescue a child and discipline a future leader so that each child will become a responsible Christian and have a productive and fulfilling future
Future plans
To cope with the challenge of increasing numbers of orphans in need of care and support, the Ministry Plans to increase its coverage to reach more children. Future plans include the need to have homes for parentless children most of whom currently live on the streets, with good Samaritans or engage in child labour to earn a living. Most of these children cannot go to school and their other rights to health and education; the right to live a life is dignity, among others are violated. In addition the ministry plans to build a school for these children, beginning from nursery/kindergarten and slowly progressing to primary and secondary school.
The plan includes purchase of 8 acres of land, construct two bed roomed flats with a living room, kitchen and wash room. There will be 50 such flats for a start, with plans for expansion as the ministry grows and as more sources of funding are identified. Each home will house 8 children of both sexes who will be under the care of a mother. The mothers who care for these children will be raised among the single mothers who will be taken in with their own children and other children placed under their care. Basic needs of food, clothing and health care, in addition to education, will be provided. From among the male Church members, the ministry will raise men who will act as father figures for these children, visiting them on a regular basis.
Plans for use of the land include construction of a school starting from nursery section, to primary and eventually secondary. Initially, there will be one classroom block per class, however, these will increase based on the number of children taken into the home. While construction is ongoing, the children who are currently enrolled in the nursery school and those in secondary and tertiary institutions will continue to commute to their specific schools, requiring continued funding to meet their education costs which include tuition fees, provision of scholastic materials and uniforms depending on the need.
To provide meals, school fees, uniforms, scholastic materials and medical care for one child costs that ministry 30 dollars per month. The ministry intends to take on 400 children by 2009. ministry. We welcome contributions for any amount ranging from one child to a large number of children. Individuals can also select specific children whom they intend to support.

It is against this background that the ministry is calling upon you/your organisation to provide funding for this noble venture. The request is cluster into two areas and these are:
